General Shortcuts & Navigation

Spacebar	Play/Stop playback
Arrow Keys	Navigate between notes
Home	Go to beginning of the score
End	Go to end of the score
Page Up/Down	Scroll page up/down
Ctrl + Left/Right Arrow	Jump to the next/previous beat

Number Keys (0-9)	Enter fret number on selected string
+ (Plus)	Increase note value (e.g., from eighth to quarter)
- (Minus)	Decrease note value (e.g., from quarter to eighth)
. (Period)	Add a dot to the note (increase duration by half)
0 (on numpad)	Enter a rest
9 (on numpad)	Change to next string

Access preferences through the Tools menu, then select Options to customize various settings like display, sound, and input devices.

Customize keyboard shortcuts by navigating to Tools > Options > Shortcuts.

Ctrl + Mouse Wheel Up	Zoom In
Ctrl + Mouse Wheel Down	Zoom Out

Double-click on tempo text	Edit the tempo in the tempo track
Double-click on Time Signature	Edit Time Signature

Add or remove tracks using the Track menu. Manage track properties (instrument, volume, pan) in the track view (Ctrl + T).

Use automation lanes (volume, pan, etc.) to create dynamic changes in your score. Access automation through the View menu.
